Then again, if you choose to ignore those messages, are you really forced just as you try to avoid conversing with those people on those topics?
It's like those people that complain about what's on television. Turn it off.

With blogs you can quite easily ignore the hot air, which is about the only thing that makes the blogosphere tolerable. Unfortunately, once you want to look past certain archtypes and cliches, it sometimes seems that there isn't a whole lot left. My daily blog reading list is presently at 3.
My daily blog reading was about 1, but now that you've slowed down (must be the married life ;) My daily totals are much lower.
I only read about 2 other blogs on a semi regular basis.

Comment spam is an ongoing problems that we're trying to address. Previously we required people to create accounts and log in. I am thankful to say that is no longer the case. We're giving Captcha another try and are playing around with a text-based Q&A variant of Captcha. So bear with us as we try to figure out how to best get a handle ont he problem. Please note that any comment on a post more than 30 days old will go into the moderation queue, where I will get to it when I can which could be once a week.
