Cold Is Inconducive To Computer Use

You'd be surprised how hard it is to type in 39 degree weather when your heater doesn't work. Well, it actually works, but I was told not to turn it on because it's a fire hazard at the moment.
I bought a blanket over the weekend that's being put to good use.
I'm actually doing okay, but my computer hates the cold more than it hates the warm. It's not worked right since the weather turned and then last night it konked out. For good, I think.
Not just my computer. We've had more downtime this week than hours when we can actually get things done.
They must get cranky when it's cold, too.
Hopefully not as cranky as my Computer.
Observations
That's what you get when you are keeping 40+ windows open at the same time. =)
Haha, yeah the computers didn't like that, either. Though since the weekend I've actually not even been logging in, just using it for a file server for the laptop. I figured it would get better when the weather got warmer.
It's going to be a long winter.
How odd... and to think we keep our servers in a refrigerated cabinet.
My computers have always had a problem with cold weather. I've no idea why. I figured I would wait it out.

Comment spam is an ongoing problems that we're trying to address. Previously we required people to create accounts and log in. I am thankful to say that is no longer the case. We're giving Captcha another try and are playing around with a text-based Q&A variant of Captcha. So bear with us as we try to figure out how to best get a handle ont he problem.
