The Virtues - or Lack Thereof - of Coffee Beans
R. Alex Whitlock
If you have a delicate stomach and/or have just eaten, or don't have a goofy sense of humor, or can't stand curse words, or have something better to do, don't read this post.

Eel: ... so I ate some chocolate covered coffee beans and they...
RAW: Wait, you at WHAT?!
Eel: Chocolate covered coffee beans.
RAW: Ewwwwwwwwwww!!
Eel: They were good.
RAW: Why would you eat coffee beans? Drinking coffee is bad enough...
Eel: But they were covered with chocolate.
RAW: You can't put peanuts on shit and call it a candy bar.
Eel: Hey now! Coffee beans don't taste like shit.
RAW: Close enough...
Eel: Okay, then, next time we're at Diedrich's I'll just tell them to shit in your mocha instead of putting coffee in there.
RAW: Okay, you win.

Besides, I would have cringed at the chocolate aspect of the equation, not the coffee aspect. Chocolate is the vilest concoction known to man, woman, or beast. <sipping my quadruple espresso>

Chocolate has antioxidants in it, the darker, the better. Never mind, of course, that you could probably get MORE antioxidants for your calorie by eating brightly colored vegetables. . . dark chocolate! The newest health craze! :D (Okay, so being on call makes me a little loopy. . .)

Callie dear, you are wonderfully strange. I had forgotten that you are one of that rare breed of female that doesn't like chocolate. :) For the record, though, I dig both the chocolate and the coffee part of chocolate-covered espresso beans. Gawd, I could use a handful about now. . .

We're giving Captcha another try and are playing around with a text-based Q&A variant of Captcha. So bear with us as we try to figure out how to best get a handle ont he problem.
